Privacy Policy & Regulations of Participation in the Tours

Please read and confirm the tour participation regulations and privacy guidelines in detail, as they outline your rights and responsibilities when booking with Aranor Travel.

1. Booking Conditions

  • Advance Booking: Private and custom tours (including Classic and Offroad adventures) must be booked in advance (min 1 day before).
  • Payments: Payments for tours are accepted in advance by bank transfer or through our approved payment methods.
  • Tour Duration & Start: The average duration of our one-day tours (e.g., Dilijan, Saghmosavank, Noravank) is indicated on the website. Depending on circumstances, road conditions, or your custom pace, the duration may be shortened or extended. Individual tours can begin directly from the guest's address or hotel within Yerevan.
  • Vehicle Etiquette: The consumption of food, alcoholic beverages, tea, coffee, other beverages (except water), or tobacco products is strictly prohibited inside the tour vehicles.
  • Clothing & Preparation: During individual and off-road excursions, participants are highly advised to wear athletic, closed shoes and comfortable clothing. Depending on the terrain (e.g., Gnishik Canyon or Stone Lake), please bring:
    • Protective cap and sunglasses
    • Warm clothes and a raincoat (mountain weather can change rapidly)
    • Sunscreen
  • Cultural Site Etiquette: Weather conditions may vary between Yerevan and the tour locations. When visiting medieval monasteries and churches (e.g., Goshavank, Noravank), it is required that both men and women avoid revealing clothing.
  • Physical Requirements: For off-road and specific nature tours, the vehicle may not be able to reach the exact destination, requiring participants to walk or hike. If participants have difficulty walking or climbing, please inform our tour consultants in advance so we can tailor the itinerary to your needs.
  • Personal Belongings: Aranor Travel is not responsible for lost, damaged, or left-behind items during the tours, either in the vehicles or at the visited locations.

2. Cancellation and Changes to the Tour Program

  • Client Cancellations: If the booked private tour is canceled at least 24 hours before the tour date, the amount paid for the reservation will be fully refunded to the Client. If the reservation is canceled by the Client after this specified period, the full payment for the tour will be charged.
  • Weather & Safety: In the event of adverse weather conditions or force majeure, Aranor Travel reserves the right to modify, shorten, or cancel the tour program to ensure the safety of our guests (this is especially applicable to our off-road and mountain routes).
  • Company Cancellations: If Aranor Travel must cancel the tour entirely due to unforeseen circumstances, the full cost of the purchased tour will be refunded to the Client.
  • Itinerary Adjustments: If the Company must replace visited locations or services provided during the tour with equivalent alternatives due to safety or weather, it bears no further obligations and does not issue refunds. In the event of an inadequate replacement or program reduction, the Company will refund the difference in value between the purchased tour and the actual implemented program.

3. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Data Collection: To provide you with our bespoke itineraries and all-inclusive services, Aranor Travel collects necessary personal information during the booking process (such as your name, contact details, dietary restrictions for meals, and hotel address for pickup).
  • Use of Information: Your personal data is used strictly for organizing your journey, communicating with you regarding your booking, and ensuring a seamless travel experience in Armenia.
  • Data Protection: We respect your privacy. Aranor Travel will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Information is only shared with trusted local partners (such as hotels or specific venues) when absolutely necessary to fulfill your tailored tour itinerary.
