• Is this a group tour or a private experience? This is an exclusively private tour. The bathhouse, the transportation, and the lunch are reserved entirely for you and your chosen companions. We do not mix groups.
• How is the wild bathhouse heated? Our mobile camp bathhouse is heated using a traditional, safe, wood-fired stove. We handle all the fire-tending to ensure the steam room reaches the perfect temperature for you to relax and sweat.
• I've never done a cold plunge before. Is this for me? As long as you do not have any of the medical conditions listed in our health warning, you are welcome to try. You control your own pace — you can simply enjoy the steam bath and cool off in the fresh mountain air, or take a full plunge into the lake.
• What exactly is included in the package? Everything you need for the day: round-trip private transfers, the fully heated wood-fired bathhouse setup, bathing essentials (towels, slippers), and a freshly prepared lunch (BBQ or Khash) at the location.
• What if I don't eat meat or prefer something other than BBQ and Khash? Your culinary experience is entirely customisable. While we highly recommend the traditional Armenian Khorovats (BBQ) or Khash for a post-bathhouse meal, just let us know your dietary restrictions or preferences and we will prepare a tailored menu.
• What should I bring with me? Just bring your swimsuit, warm comfortable clothing to change into afterward, and a sense of adventure. We take care of all the heavy lifting, towels, and food.
• Can we choose the pick-up location? Yes. We provide door-to-door service. Whether you are staying at a hotel in Yerevan or another region, we will arrange the pick-up and drop-off based on your preferred location.
• Which location is best for beginners? Lake Sevan and the Aparan Reservoir are excellent choices for a balanced experience, offering beautiful scenery and highly accessible shorelines for an easy walk into the water. Stone Lake (Kari Lich) is recommended for extreme cold-plunge enthusiasts due to its high altitude and freezing glacial temperatures.
